Southern Table for August 8

This is a very exciting weekend for us, because in addition to our full stock of pristine local produce, we also have some fresh hearts of palm straight off of the airplane and a fresh batch on home made hominy from Three Sisters Garden white corn. Late summer sees much lighter crowds than usual eating in restaurants, so we’re able to give much more individual attention to each guest and each plate, which is very satisfying. The bounty of produce and great work being done in the kitchen say alot about why summer is the best time of year to eat at Big Jones!
