Today was our first photo shoot with our publicist and a photographer to get some photographs of some of the exciting Big Jones dishes. Paul spent hours this week getting ready, buying ingredients and plates. This afternoon, Paul got our home kitchen into full swing while the photographer and publicist got all the equipment ready. Fortunately the sun was shining today — one of the only times this winter, it seems — so we got some natural light for the pics.
Since the restaurant is still under construction, we did the photo shoot in our home, and hope you like the informal shots of the day. The items we shot today:
Cinnamon Beignettes with Three Crythsanthamums blossoming tea
Oysters Echantee, baked with home made tasso, cream, celery, and bread crumbs
Niman Ranch Pork Chop with organic greens, succotash, and fried sage leaves
